Garten served on the White House economic policy staffs of Nixon, Ford and Carter, had ten-year tenure as dean of Yale School of Management, is chairman of Garten Rothkopf, a global consulting firm, serves on numerous boards and writes a monthly column for Newsweek’s international editions. His topic, “The Intersection of Wall Street and Washington,” will address how the decisions made in Washington impact markets.
